Several businesses in “Upper West Cherokee” (3100-3200 blocks of Cherokee Street) will celebrate milestones on February 5th, 2011. STL-Style and Lighthouse Design, collectively known as STyLehouse, will celebrate their recent expansion into a larger storefront, where they design, produce and sell their renowned St. Louis-inspired apparel and provide custom screen printing and promotional branding services. Peridot, an independent boutique selling local handmade goods, will kick off their grand re-opening in the storefront next door. Neighborhood bookseller The Archive is celebrating its 1 Year Anniversary half a block down the street, and local market and café The Cherokee Peach, slated to open on Cherokee in the spring, will preview its flavorful delights. Fort Gondo will feature Juan Montana's photographic exhibit, Cherokee People.
All stores will be open from 11am-5pm for regular business, followed by a party at STyLehouse beginning at 5pm, where DJ Amputee will spin records for the rest of the night. We invite the public to be our accomplices in this incident.
